Hey my friend thanks for stopping by!
I’m Alexa: a travel enthusiast, Harry Potter loving entrepreneur on a mission to help other entrepreneurs overcome the fear of failure when establishing their first start-up company.
I believe anyone who wants to become an entrepreneur can.
I believe in failing forward.
I believe self-love creates inner strength.
I believe everything happens for a reason, which is why you landed on my site.
I believe YOU can create a successful business model based from your passion.
I believe time is more important than money.
I believe that money will always come and go, so do what you love.
I believe if you proclaim your dreams to the universe it will happen.
I believe everyone has a beautiful story that can help others, but most people are too afraid to share.
So let’s get started.
I’m on mission to create a mastermind community for entrepreneurs who are looking to build a network that will achieve their net-worth.
Subscribe to my blog through email and “like” Alexa-writes on Facebook to become apart of the net-worth fam.
Growing up I’ve always known I wanted to work for myself, but I didn’t know what I wanted to do. Does anyone else feel this way too? Both of my parents own successful companies, but I didn’t want to follow in their footsteps– I wanted to do something for myself. I’ve always had the support from my family, which built my inner confidence that I can do anything in life if I put my mind to it. And while I know I’m blessed to have this support system, I realized most people aren’t as fortunate as I am.
That’s why I created Alexa-Writes, a medium to develop a mastermind community of fellow entrepreneurs from beginner to expert where we can share our stories and push one another to reach pinnacle success. I want this website to be a support system and mentorship program for people who want to build their network and learn how to be successful while using their passions and skill sets. I’m looking for like-minded individuals who know they want to work for themselves, but might be stuck in the process on where to start, or hit a stagnant part in their career and need the extra push. We’re only as strong as the weakest link in our mind or our team, so let me help you reach your potential.
A little about me:
I graduated from Florida State University with an English degree. Since I was little I’ve always wanted to write; I used to make children’s books and newspapers and sell them to my family. (The best part was being so young I thought a penny was worth a lot so they didn’t have to pay me too much.) I’m currently working on a fiction novel and helping others as a life coach and mentor.
If you look up the word success in the dictionary it says, “the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” Living life to the textbook, I believed success meant having a mansion, a huge boat, and buying anything without looking at the price tag. Maybe I was listening to too much Nicki Minaj, but I found myself after college chasing the almighty dollar instead of writing. Post college I was desperate to find a job, and after barely getting any interviews I finally got hired in a company that promoted positivity, work-ethic, and eventually “owning your own company.” It was a multi-level-marketing position (different from most since you never bought the product) that I grew in for 3 years. Although this type of position isn’t for 99% of people, (as I saw people come on go on a daily basis) it strengthened me to become the life-coach-in-training I am today. I learned the ins-and-outs of running and managing a start-up company. I learned how to maximize on the hours I had in the day and teach others how to do the same. I coached colleagues on time management, goal setting, organization, public speaking, money management, driving sales, scheduling, payroll, and recruiting. After putting in my 10,000 hours and mastering these skills I started Alexa-Writes, which creates an outlet for beginner entrepreneurs. I wanted to help and serve MORE people than I was, but most importantly I realized tons of people I coached in the business I was in had potential to start up a company, they just weren’t in the right business model. I took a risk and stopped living by the textbook of what society perceives success is and defined it in my own terms:
Success: The ability to be in control of time without it controlling you; the freedom to listen to your gut feelings and embrace fear wholeheartedly; to live life with passion, or not at all.
I know I’m not the only one who has a different meaning to success. Some people are stay at home moms and their success is to make sure their kids are well taken care of. It’s different for everyone: freedom, fame, family, fortune, faith. Which one is it for you?
If you’ve made the leap to start your own business model or start building your brand, that’s why I’m here– to help you, guide you, and push you.
I want you to find the spark that’s burning inside you to follow your dreams, because I know it’s in there, and use it to help you drive through this journey we call life.
This is Alexa-Writes– I challenge you to comment below and write your own definition for success; get your entrepreneurial flame flowing with just one key-stroke at a time.
